About Munawar Faruqui?

Munawar Iqbal Faruqui was born on 28 January 1992. He was born in Junagadh Gujarat. He
is 31 years old (as of 2023). He is a stand up comedian and a rapper.

Munawar Faruqui’s mother committed suicide when he was 16 years old. In 2007 his father
decided to move from Junagadh to Mumbai and shifted to Mumbai with him so that they
could start their lives by a new point.

Munawar Faruqui has 3 sisters , so when his father’s health was not good in 2008 munawar
started working to support his family and his father. At the age of 16 munawar took
responsibility for his family on his own shoulder. In 2020 his father died.

In 2002 communal riots happened and many people got killed and burnt their houses

But when his father shifted to Mumbai with his family, Munawar took responsibility and
started working at a very young age. Munawar worked at a local utensils shop just to support
his family.

Munawar used to work full day and in the evening started pursuing various computer
courses. When he was in his 20s Munawar started working as a graphic designer in a firm.

One day Munawar went to some shooting location where the others were shooting about
some advertisements. Munawar was told to sit in the audience.

But when he was sitting in the audience someone asked him to perform for 2 minutes and everyone liked what he performed that day. From that day his life changed and he thought about doing stand-up
comedy as a full time career rather than as part time.

Firstly he did many open mic. In 2018 he won comic kaun 4.0 by pizza bust and won open mic
in 2018.

Munawar Faruqui’s 1st ticket show was in February 2020. By October 2020 he started doing
national tours.
